Low Compression?
I have the base 350 motor in my 69 Vette, all numbers matching, its showing low compression in the #6 cylinder (130 as compared to 190 in the rest of the cylinders), but the engine does not burn any oil or anything, infact it runs like a champ, any ideas what might cause this?

I would just keep an eye on it if it runs well, but a leak-down check is what you need. Find someone in your area that has a leak-down tester, or better yet, get your own! It is the best way to check the entire combustion chamber (rings pistons, valves...). You will require a proper supply of compressed air.

What? it's not brand new anymore?
Unless your friends are blowing your doors off, i would forget about it.
But i am sure allen greenspan would recommend a new engine to help stimulate the economy :jester
