Default T Top Cargo Strap Hooks

HI,Just installing new carpet noticed that I only have the 2 strap hooks in my car.I have the 2 hooks that go over the rear wheel wells.I bought new hooks and I see the holes for the 3rd one but not sure which side it goes on.Does it go on the back side facing the center storage door,or does if go on the front side facing the back of the seats? Thanks for any help.STW.Frank :flag

On my 81 the hook is facing the front of the car, it's covered by the T-cusion arm rest thing.

Just to the front of the ridge toward the arm rest.
Hope this helps.
