INTEREST COUNT: Who would be interested in DRLs for their C3?
As a Electrical Engineer/Computer Engineer (soon to be...one more semester), I could probably design an inexpensive system for DRLs for our C3s. I'm trying to determine if there is enough interest on the forum for me to actually pursue this.
I am not planning on selling this information, just developing the system and documenting it...and then posting it for the forum to use. I would love to be able to build them and sell them, but I just do not have the time, nor the ability to support people that buy them...thus, a free tutorial.
On the other hand, donations "to the cause" would not be turned down, specifically...cash, beer, and sidepipes come to mind. :reddevil :D
(Here's where I hope you realize that the last sentence was a joke)
Let me know what you all want, and I'll see what I can come up with, as they tell me here that I'm supposed to be able to think critically now...193 days until graduation.

Man, I hate having to ask but what are DRLs?
What are Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)?

Yes, I would be interested in Daytime running lights.
I don't want to pay the big bucks for the units in Ecklers, and I hate having to remember to turn them on and off everytime I get out of the car.
Let me know what you cook up.

Yes, I am interested. Front parking lamps on "turn signal" bright whilst retaining the signal function, of course. Much like brake/turn signal in the rear.
