Default The Last Detail

I have read so many posts lately about vendors who provide poor service that I want to share my recent experience with The Last Detail in Georgia.
I ordered some 68 weatherstrips via the internet late last night. At 9AM this morning I received a call at my officefrom James of The Last Detail thanking me for my order and confirming that the items were being prepared for shipping and would be shipped today.
I was impressed with this level of customer service and the price was excellent as well and I was assured that the weatherstrip has passed NCRS judging so I am expecting the product will be good when it arrives.
I was impressed with their service and I think it is important that we mention the good vendors since I have seen many negative posts about vendors.

I have heard nothing but GOOD things about Last Detail on this forum. Maybe I should start using them...although I've been very pleased with Zip.

I have been ordering stuff from TLD for a few years and never a problem. Their price's are very good. They have a great on-line catalouge and ordring system..They always call if there is any question. They are my First choice now and I would recommend them to anyone.

Am I the only person that got this email from them? I am not their best customer - I think I have ordered one emblem from TLD.... I didnt really want to do this because they are not a supporting vendor, but anyway,
Here is the email:

From: tld@tld-corvette.com (The Last Detail Corvette Parts)

I've always got great service and price from them. When I have had a hard to find part they went the extra mile to find and have given me the numbers of suppliers that had it if they didn't. Extra bonus for me is that living in Atlanta I can just drive over there.

I think MNJack is trying to say that they may be trolling this site for customers, and using our e-mail addresses that we post here.

No, not at all - They have my email legitimately from ordering from them. I didnt mind getting the email at all. I just try to respect the forum supporting vendors position (they are paying for their bandwidth on the forum) and not post links or ads to other vendors in a blatant fashion of the forum. (But here I am bringing this thread TTT again! oops! ) TLD is a great vendor and their feedback is almost universally positive. My personal experience with them has been good, if limited. Sorry for any misunderstanding! I am curious if others had gotten the email tho.. MJ
