Default Best quality frt/rear emblems?

Can anyone share their experience on where to buy nose and gas cap emblems that are of good quality. I read a few months ago that someone complained about his fading over time.

First, check with http://www.trimparts.com and then with the GM dealer to compare prices. GM licenses them to produce the parts and they supply them to all of the parts suppliers including GM themselves. Whoever has the best price wins! :smash:

The Last Detail sells the GM emblems, at decent prices.

I bought mine through GM. Pricey little buggers though. ;) The quality was nice. I didn't think the red color was exactly the original shade, so I repainted mine with model railroad paint and then clear coated them. I'll LYK next time I get my '70 judged what the judges thought of the color. :D ~Juliet

PS - forgot to mention that the solid acorn nuts which come with the gas emblem are not like the originals. The original ones are more of a bent metal acorn - you can see the seams. They're not a solid hunk of metal like the current service replacements. ...if that's something which concerns you. :)
