Just an animated GIF of Jeffs surprise.
Here's the setup. I made up a sign showing YouTube search keywords - as arranged in advance by Jeff and I. This was to make it easy for those attending last year to find the 2006 video.
Jeff didn't know that I made up a dual sided sign; the other side said "Cheers for Jeff". As he cue'd me to hold up the YouTube search word sign... standing behind me he saw the "Corvette Fall Tour" words... thinking that's what I had on the other side as well. People started cheering.. and I know it had Jeff a little confused as to why people were cheerign this simple sign I had made. Then I turned it around - and the last shot catches his expression when finally seeing what allthe noise was about:
I'll have more stills (and the full video) uploaded soon.
Supposedly the event surpassed last years record of 188 Corvettes; but I never got a final count. Was rumored to be near 200

John made it... but said he couldn't stick-around very long...
I reminded him that there was a free meal served at the end of the event.
that's when he said "well... then I'll stay"

Springboro Police was suppose to hold traffic and help us get out, but they took off before we all exited and left many of us stranded fighting the traffic. It was a nightmare.

Dave, do you remember if they left with lights/sirens on? I ask because the PD has always told Jeff that they would do this traffic control thing - just as long as no emergency calls come in.

I don't know. We had about 4 vans that came out of one of the other places and got ahead of the line. By the time us in the back got there the Police had pulled away. As we were sitting at the stop sign another Patrol car passed by us from the East. I don't know for sure what happened, but we did finally get out. We went west and then turned around at Arby's and headed back. I know it's not Jeffs fault but it was just a bumb way to start out. We thought that maybe the cop saw the vans and thought every one had gone. No matter how much you plan, somthing can always go wrong. Oh well, it was still a fun day. We enjoyed route so much that we are going to drive it again later at a slower pace. Thanks to The Station for putting it on.

I'd like to thank those of you that drove around my wife's hat after it blew off when she was trying to take a photo of the covered bridge while driving up to it.

Couldn't ask for better weather
As my son was pulling out he said he heard the police say they had to go. Not sure if was an emergenc but that's what it sounded like.
Only followed a group the wrong direction once. Then we decided to watch the map.....

Sounds and looks like it was a good time I wish we could have gone but we had a baptism to go to Sunday. Is it possible to get a copy of the map route that was taken. Looks like a nice drive.

I generally create a CD-ROM of all the pics & give it to Jeff.
If anyone here would rather their pics not be used on his webstie, just email me and I'll not copy them over
