CI VI Drag Champ!
Savarese (ECS CC), Shen (Pro 10.0), Fischer (11.50) Win Event 10!
Congrats to all the racers who won in today's marathon events.
10/21/07 - What a day! 2 Sessions, 3 classes and 12 hours later, we have three winners. Ralph Savarese made a strong move toward a third championship taking the event win over Chris Haase (who made a strong move toward the Rookie championship) placing himself just one point from first behind John Trescott. The Pro 10.0 had some new drivers but the same result...David Shen, the Champ, takes his fourth in a row in a very tight final over Eddie Monari, debuting in Pro 10.0 wheeling Mike Conway's car. In our Pro 11.50 index test session in the 2nd session, 16 Corvettes made first round and Eric Fischer took the win after both drivers in the other semi-final were dq'd for going under 11.50. Details, of all racing of course will be made available as soon as possible.

To all the 'marathon men' (and their ladies!) - IS IT OVER YET?!? Or is (sur-)Real Street stil in progress?
Some great racing today - thanks Edgar/Bob/Dennis .... and Rob - looks like you had a good turnout, despite the delays; well done!
Three for the 3 winners, way to go Ralph, David & Eric - nice way to end a good day at the track!

Congrats to Eric and David
Both are great competitors, true racers and all around nice people. Not only can they drive, but they can wrench with the best of them. The Shens have set the benchmark for the 10.0 class. You better be able to cut a light and run the number if you're gonna compete. And Eric seems to be in his element with this index racing.
I was very very lucky yesterday. I had a few good rounds, but left myself exposed on several others and was just plain lucky to get the win.

Ralph you couldnt of said it any better about the Shens It started last year with these guys.
They helped Eddie (My pit chief ) and myself all year. You only get better by racing better competion. Like i told the Champs "i hope i can slow my car down so i can race them again next year".
Eddie made it to the finals in his first 10. o0hh ,the Shens helped him out alot.We love them guys ,Win or Lose. The final Eddie lost by .0017 . They both had great reaction times .01X & and they both ran 10.0's , awesome. He also ran his first 9.6 @ 140mph Does that count ,because he was in my car
Eddie is on cloud nine He thanks EVERYONE
We had a great year .Thx to all
Ps I can tell Edgar is from the Bronx NY , he can strip a car FAST
pss thank WayneK for helping us tune the car to the number.

I had to stop cause there was no room in the truck for parts. I gotta get ready for the super light blueberry at the end of the season.
