Huntsville Al Vets With Vettes Annual Toys For Tots [Nov 2-4]
Vets with Vettes and Corvette Owners – a very active, community involved Corvette club with over 100 members located in the Tennessee Valley, announces our 2nd annual Corvette Display supporting the local Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.
Like last year, the event we will be held in Huntsville, inside Madison Square Mall at the Suzuki of Huntsville showroom located on the lower level near JC Penney’s from Friday, November 2nd through Sunday November 4th during regular Mall hours.
We raised tons of toys for the kids last year. Please come out and support this event
Here are a few shots from last year - I've got to admit, driving my car INSIDE the mall ranks on my "Top 10" List!
The theme for this year’s event is Santa’s Sleigh and his VERY fast reindeer. An SSR Pick-up will represent the sleigh; the reindeer will be represented by nine Corvettes; ranging from a 1965 model to a 2006 model. The cars will be staged side by side depicting Santa’s sleigh being pulled by the Corvettes. And of course we have included a shiny red Corvette as Rudolph. Other cars scheduled to appear include a 1965 Resto-Mod powered by an LS7, a 1965, 396 (NCRS awarded) an 81 custom street Corvette and a slightly mod'ed C6 Z06. Nine Corvettes in all will be on display - you won't be disappointed!
The public is encouraged to help fill Santa’s sleigh with a new, unwrapped toy. All toys donated will be delivered to the local Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots. Marines will be on hand throughout the weekend.

A word about our Club: Membership is comprised of Corvette enthusiasts who are proud to support America’s Veterans and who collectively endorse community charities. The club is open to any Corvette owner who has a love for the Corvette automobile and its rich heritage. Members need not be military veterans to join; they need only to share in the passion. Some of our members served our nation in a branch of America’s armed services, some served as a civil servant or a contractor, and some of us are still serving – but any Corvette owner with a heart for veterans is welcome and encouraged to join.
