Now THOSE are what I call spark plug wires! :eek:

So what does that big scoop on the front do? I've always wondered that.

The radiators are mounted corvette style (angled) just behind the grille. The front air dam aids aerodynamics and flows air the rads. The air for the engine is supplied from the ducts just underneath the windscreen. The round holes in the front dam have tubes in them which flow into the discs. Air flows into the middle and out the edges of the rotor.

What do you wear for hearing protection?

The sound level in the cockpit must surely be 100+ decibels!

P.S. Post those brake pics.

for hearing safety==a helmet
car weighs a little over 1000 kg. Work out the power to weight ratio.

I've always liked old Fords especially Escorts. That is one sweet ride you got there... I'm staying tuned to see those dyno sheets!

Now that's cool. Who's fuel injection management system are you using? I bet that is a real hoot to drive. Also, what kind of fastener are you using to attach the a-arm to the spindle? Is it a tapered stud or a bushing and a bolt?

Burner--> I use Motec fuel injection. Engine is dry sumped and it doesnt get revved to over 7500. This particular block pictured has siamese bores. In reference to your spindle question. I dont quite understand. Do u mean how do i join the upright to the A-arm? If thats what u mean then its with the use of rose joints.
