Default Big Block intake manifold suggestions.

I know this topic must have been covered before but I probably never paid attention but now I want to know of the best manifold that will fit under an L88 hood. My engine is a 502 that soon will be in the 550 to 600 hp range and revving to 6000 or so. I have it narrowed to the GM high rise and maybe machine the plenum divider down the way they did on the L88's, the Air gap from edelbrock, the Victor junior or the World Products single plane although I don't know which of these will fit under the hood. Opinions please.

As a side note I am curious what my current intake manifold and carb might be worth. The manifold is the LS6 manifold, rectangular port aluminum in great shape and the carb is a Holley 750 mechanical secondary in like new condition. I will also most likely sell my stock Big Block hood. Please give me an idea what these are worth.

The Air-Gap will fit- I have that & the L88 hood on my Vette. Not sure about the Victor, nor can I help you w/ value on the carb/intake. The hood should be worth approx. $400-500 but that's ballpark only.

That manifold in good condition usually sells for around $150-$200 on Ebay. For some reason, it seems like every week there is one for sale there. Part #3963569. GM must have sold a ton of them over the counter. The carb will probably sell for around $150-$200 as well. I have a bunch of GM part numbers programmed into Ebay's autosearch feature, so it emails me whenever certain parts become available.

I just picked up the correct numbers matching carb (8209), intake (849) and air cleaner for my L36 for $250. every dealer I talked to wanted at least $1000! It only took my 18 months of looking to find it for a good price.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Joe that is the casting number on my intake manifold, I looked in Chevrolet by the numbers and you are right that manifold was used for a long time and alot of different engines and vehicles from 402's to 454's in Chevelles and Vettes. Has anyone ever seen any tests on bigblock manifolds?
