Halltech needs a C5 Z06 for our new Venom Induction
This will take about 2 hours or less, and I will provide a free tune for your effort. The Halltech C5 Venom will also be included for your effort.
The Venom is already selling well on the C6, having replaced the Stinger last summer.
(You can see the Delphi 85 at the rear of the bridge)
It uses that same low restriction high flow ISO 5011 Certified Filter as our LS7 and LS3 Killer Bee and the same bridge, with the exception of the MAF. The stock Delphi 85 is positioned in the rear for much better metering, and fewer issues with lean codes on the Z06.
Dyno testing on the C6 Venom, shows a 3 RWHP gain over the C6 Stinger, but that is with the same MAF sensor and no other mods. A racing version of the Killer Bee Filter has shown 4 RWHP improvement on the LS3, and is also going to be available. (Note the probe MAF sensor (Halltech's huge 103.5mm MAF housing)
Scheduled release date is set for the end of October.
We will also have a Killer Bee AAIS conversion package for the C5 coming as well, which provides much better flow than even the Venom, but requires full retuning the MAF Code since the probe style MAF sensor is used in the LS7 and LS3.
email me at jim@halltechsystems.com. I'm sure we'll have a candidate this weekend. www.HalltechSystems.com

WOW, even more tempting, I'm in Northern IL and will be going to see my Cousin next weekend in Wautoma, WI. Do you guys work Saturdays?
Have you seen these great numbers? The new version will do even better???

It is worth 2 to 3 more RWHP over the STinger. The real bad boy is the Killer Bee AAIS conversion package, which will be announced right after the Venom, for those that do not mind reflashing the ECM with the new MAF tables for the Hitachi Probe MAF sensor.
This is integrated into the Killer Bee system:

I know, I would not want to drive that far. But if you need a good drive to test on the track. I am your drive. #7 on the c5z06 list and moving up. Plus I love the stinger but have been told to try to VR, but I want to see how fast I could go with the stinger first.

Venom: Replacement for the Stinger. Configured exactly like the popular C6 Stinger with the MAF at the back of the bridge for better metering.
The LS7 intake kicks butt on both the old C6 Stinger, and C6 Base Car:
http://www.corvettec5.com/DonaldsontestC6vsLS7.pdf
The Venom beats the LS7 (numbers not available) even though it uses the stock C6 MAF sensor, and you can see why we were reluctant at first to make an intake for the C6Z06, since the stock AIS was pretty awesome from the factory.
For those not satisfied with the stock MAF, there is the Killer Bee AAIS conversion coming soon. Already on the 05-07 C6, it features a wire conversion harness, Killer Bee AAIS, Hitachi MAF meter, and MAF code. Programming is NOT optional with this conversion. You must reflash the ECM MAF tables to make the Hitachi read correctly. While you are at it, high performance tuning will glean even more performance. Estimated power increase: 30 to 35 RWHP.
I will have pictures of this conversion package Monday.

Jim, it looks like the new CAI is going to cost about twice as much as what we can purchase a Stinger for. I have a stock 2002 Z06 that I am getting ready to put a header system with my stock Ti's on. What is the performance difference going to be between the old and new? Thanks.

The Killer Bee has not been tested yet on the C5 since it is in development. Best guess is 14 to 16 RWHP without tuning. 25 or so with headers, and 35 to 40 with tuning and headers.
Watch for our pre-winter ECM tuning special.

The Stinger is onsale since it is being discontinued.MAF is at the front of the bridge.
The Venom will be available by Halloween, and is worth +2 to 3 RWHP over the Stinger, but has filtration far superior to any other intake on the market.

Stingers are running out of stock in about 1 week. Red and Black. 10-12 RWHP. When they are gone, they're gone forever.
The all new C5 Venom (01-04) is the new system for those wanting to step up to better filtration and performance. Stock Delphi MAF. The MAF screen should be removable on the LS1 for the extra 2 HP the Z06 gets from this, without codes. and should be 5 more RWHP than seen from the C5 Stinger. No reprogramming necessary. $30.00 more than the normal Stinger price, not double.
The Killer Bee is going to be the ultimate high flow system for the C5, where re-programming is not an expense issue. Reprogramming mandatory. Comes with the Hitachi Probe MAF sensor from the LS7, and the Halltech Conversion Wire Harness. I'll have pictures tomorrow.
