Sorry if this has been answered before but does anyone know if a ls7 clutch (clutch, pressure plate, flywheel) will fit on my 01 Z?

Yep, I have an '06 Z clutch in my '01. Bought all the parts from Gene Culley when he was at some Dealership in Doylestown Pa. I guess he's somewhere better (on his own) now? http://www.gmpartshouse.com/ I bought the flywheel and all. One recommendation....get the flywheel balanced even though it's supposed to be ready from GM. I have a buzz in my dash that wasn't there when I had the original clutch. The good news is that I have no more pedal stuck to the floor issues. Not so happy with the heavier flywheel as the motor doesn't seem to spin up revs as fast as the stock clutch did.

Thanks for the tip on the balance, the one that I have an option to buy has 300 miles on it so do you think I still need to have it balanced?

Not sure. Probably not a bad Idea. Was that 300 miles on the local track, 1/4 mile at a time, or just 300 miles?
