Default My Exhaust sounds

Well, I finally got around to doing my exhaust. I upgraded from my stock 2-1-2 system with stock cat. to a true dual 2.5" with headers. :D

Man does it sound nice now. (well maybe not as nice as it did when I drove over to the exhaust shop 8am saturday morning with open headers). Hopefully my neighbors will still talk to me. :)

Anyway, I put a few sound clips of the progression up on my site: http://www.bokonon.net/corvette/exhaust.html but I must warn you the finished product ain't that hot as I used my video camera mic and its a little difficult to tell the difference.

Haven't really gunned it or done high-rpm cruising to get seat of the pants feeling due to it being dark and me having my son in the car with me. But safe to say the first chance I get I will report back on any change.

Whew, I am giddy with excitement. Can't wait to get back and DRIVE it now after being down for so long. But of course now its raining. :(

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

 I was laughing when I heard the third one!

You are right, that microphone leaves a lot to be desired, but I got the idea!

Thanks for taking the time to post that.

Yep. Third ones the best, need to stay with that configuration.
