B&M Holeshot 2000 vs. Torquemaster 2000?
Is anyone using a Torquemaster 2000? Just wondered if the $50 or so you save over the Holeshot is worth it. Thanks.

Re: B&M Holeshot 2000 vs. Torquemaster 2000? (ORVette)
I have a B&M HoleShot Converter in my 68 Rally Sport Camaro.
Its been in the car for close 10 years.
The cam I run has enough lobe in it and this converter had just enough stall in it to make it work perfect.
The car has a nice launch with this converter.
Never had a problem with it after years of hole shots.

For no good reason, I equate the Torkmaster with a standard rebuilt unit. Nothing wrong with it, but also nothing special about it.
If you are looking at prices, what about TCI or Hughes converters?

I just automatically thought B&M because they're the only companies stuff I've ever used(transmission-wise). I was also looking at a Hughes converter with a 2000-2200 stall range for $140. The lowest stall TCI I've seen for TH400 is the Sat. Night Special at 2500. I didn't want to go much above the 2000 range with my 3.08 gears. I'm at about 23-2400@60mph.
