it is the long L-88 hood that goes right to the windshield....

Great looking car! I especially like the hood. I can't tell the color for sure (blue or black?) but with the pipes and wheels it looks really nice.

Love those pics,you may get a laugh out of this,my 74R in Australia comes from Brampton Ontario,looks like it has been is AUS since about 95....was owned last in Canada by Anthony Hewes who brought it to AUS....it was a low milage dk brown with a matching hard top & white convetible top....I cant find out who owned it before him.......john :chevy

If the car was originally from Canada, there is a number floating around the forum that will get you your original build sheet etc. Not all the history of your owners but its better than nothing. I think it costs around $50. Post a new topic and somebody will give out the number.

Past that inn Ontario, when you purchase a used vehicle, you have to get a history of the vehicle's owners, in Ontario only. I just did mine cost me twenty bucks. I'll phone tomorrow and see if I can get it done for someone elses car.

Mikec,I wrote to GM Canada and they gave me the build info that they had and were able to confirm it was originally a Canadian delivery.....no other details such as owners/dealers was available.......the fellow i brought it from in AUS has ret to Canada,so i cant get the last rego # in ontario,I suspect it was unregistered for a while......I was told it was one of those mythological "barn cars".....you know the story,stored for more than 10 years and forgotten about........I have SERIOUS doubts about that,but who really cares,it is in great condition........now has a solid 383 and really flies....john :chevy
