4 speed tranny trouble. clutch related?
i've recently begun having troubles with the 4 speed in the 69 corvette. it refuses to go into reverse with the motor running(grinding noises) and is pretty tough to shift into gear when moving forward. it feels like the clutch is not fully depressed. does it need an adjustment or is the clutch toasted?

I would say your clutch isn't fully disengaging. Which could be something under your clutch pedal, linkage problem.
