hydraulic clutch assembly - who's installed one?
I'm toying with the idea for my 81. I used to have this setup in an 87 fiero I had. I worked pretty good once it was setup correctly.
anyone had any luck fabricating their own setup?
thanks

Re: hydraulic clutch assembly - who's installed one? (jcanney)
I installed one on my 75 vet. I used a master cylinder from a 85 one ton truck GM and the matching slave cylinder. It bolted right up to the 85 one ton bellhousing that I bought. The master cylinder is machined on a crazy 3 axis and it fit perfectly to my firewall. Even the cover bolts fit. Other then the length of the rod it fits perfectly.
I think a bellhousing off any camaro would work.
I don't know why more people don't go this route and forget the mechanical rod assembly.

how does it connect to your stock (w/clutch pedal) pedal assembly?
