will pre-75 ignition sheilding fit over a HEI dist. in a 70 vette?

I was looking at a freinds 75 and his shielding will not fit my 70 with HEI because of clearance with my air cleaner and also wiper motor. I dont have the original to compare. Anybody know so I dont order this peice for nothing.

What about the air cleaner? will the 73/74 dual snorkel fit if you have an HEI?

Will it? I thought the 75 with its larger head HEI and resulting larger shield forced the air intakes seal ring to be moved forward. I know the 73/74 air intake system is slightly different then the 75 but not sure what the exact differences are. Was assuming that it was the ring that was different.
