What shock should I buy?
Hi All,
1980 L-82 with steel rear spring. What shock should I go for? However I would like to stay under $175 for the set.
Thanks in advance
Joe

Rod,
All three of them are at Bairs right now for the works. I am staying with the 3.08's and using poly bushings in the front of the t-arm. I should have them all back by next weekend. Right know I am trying to get the crap off of the bottom of the car.

Xracer,
I think Bilsteins or KONIs will do the job!
They will improve the ride significantly.
You can adjust the KONIs, but I guess 95% of all buyers haven´t done this.
The Bilsteins are also great!
Its up to you!

Delco Reactrac shocks are very close to original in feel, but a whole lot better performance. I think they are about $30.00 each, Zip advertises a set of 4 Delco shocks for under $100.00, but I'm not sure they are Reactrac shocks, they might be the cheaper Delco model.

According to ZIP, Delco's Reactek shocks now sell under the name of "Performer". Zip told me they are the same.. just a different name. I ordered the Reactek when Zip offered the free shipping, and they sent me the Performers. We'll see when they go on!! :seeya :seeya :seeya
