Reverse lights don't come on
When I put the car in Reverse the back-up lights don't light up. But if I hit the ulock on the FOB the back-up lights come on. Where should I start?
Thanks

I just had mine repaired for that. When I get home I'll look up the parts they changed to fix it. If I remember they changed two switches. The first one wasn't bad. The second one fixed it. It might have been a switch in the transmission.

Had the same problem last year. Dealer replaced back-up light switch that's mounted on the transmission. :)

Here's what my RO said.
Backup light high resis./relay open. Performed diagnosis of backup lights inop. OBD2 scan showed body code, trouble tree LED to replace relay. Replaced relay, backup lamps still inop. Further diagnosis showed a high resistance condition in the reverse switch in the trans, which sent a wrong signal to the BCM, preventing BCM from triggering ground for the backup lamp circuit. Replaced backup lamp switch on trans, tested.
Here are the parts.
