Interesting 72 BB coupe for sale
But I just saw this in the local shopper
72 Coupe, 454, auto, all original, numbers match, 1 owner, protecto plate, a/c, ps, pb. New BFG t/a's, needs restoration.............$3000.
Sounds interesting to me! To bad I have enough stuff already. The car is in NY

Someone should go check it out...I know there are planty of people here who would love to get a steal on a 72 BB and restore it.

Asking price is probably a typo. A 1 or a 2 has been left off the front, or a couple of zeroes have been omitted at the rear. The posted figure is just too good to be true.

I called the guy. The engines out, and the frame needs work due to rust. Car needs a full restoration inside and out. Sounds like more than I'm willing to deal with right now. Maybe for $1000 :)

I figured rusty frame, birdcage and suspension, but if it's a single owner car with a BB and A/C, someone's gonna grab it.

Oh, and he's not the original owner. He's had it for 1.5 years. He bought it from the original owner, then dissassembled it, which is hardly the same thing...
It does come with new tires and new exhaust :)

69ttop, you'll get a laugh out of this, but one of the main reasons I was interested in the car was to get it's power steering! (Bill (69ttop) may remove his power steering, and if he does I plan to buy it)
