Mosport (Day 2) Pictures
Well it was an interesting day at Mosport today ... We wandered all over the place ... watched the practice laps, and then the qualifying laps ... the rain started coming down later in the day ... and we finally said "Enough! Let's go to Montana's for dinner!"
Morning Time ... Small crew met up at Yorkdale (Rocko, Tony and I) ... and Frankie stopped by with his nearly-finished car ... looking great!
So we then headed to "The Shwa" (Oshawa) and met up with Bruce, Ray, and Alex ... then who should show up? Ohio-Dave, and his son Scott!
We grabbed a quick Timmy's Breakfast ... then it was off to our next stop ...
On route to our next stop ... Mark (Ragtop75) and his wife joined the convoy ... and then we stopped at the Holiday Inn and met up with Texas-Bill and his wife ... now it's finally time to head to the track!
Our first Corvette Corral presentation was the IPSA Safety Team ... we got to check out all the their gear, and chat with the members of the teams ... they are all firefighters and EMS personal ...
We then got ready to meet with the Corvette Racing Team ... Steve (PSOD) made a special banner for Ron Fellows, and all the Forum guys signed it for him ....
The Corvette Racing guys arrive and leave in style! ...
Ron Fellows lifted the Restraining Order ... temporaraly ... and allowed us a group picture ... but he was a bit upset that Les was unable to attend ... he wanted to chat with Les about some of the comments he had read on the Forum that Les had posted ... he seemed a bit upset....
Ron had a special message for Rosco ....
Steve then took Ron over to his car (MOSPORT1) and showed him the hood liner he had painted especially for the event ... Ron was very impressed, and autographed it for Steve ...

Great pics, almost like I was there! Looks like youse guys had a great time. That picture with Ron is priceless!!!
Its too bad they scheduled Carlisle AND Mosport on the same weekend!
