Default Corvettes at Carlisle - Will Cooksey Burnout in a NEW ZO6

Just back from the Corvettes at Carlisle. Will Cooksey, the Corvette Plant Manager, brought a new "modified" ZO6 to the Burnout Contest yesterday. What a great burnout!! He really lit it up, so much smoke it covered the grandstands. I will post the video link once it's been posted on Cars at Carlisle.

Here are a few photo's of the car this morning.

Here is Will Cooksey looking over car:

What was left of the rear quarter went off to a charity auction:

A "little" back rubber was kicked up on the rear bumper and yes the rear bumper was "melted" by the heat:

Not much left of this tire, or the rear quarter. Good test for the Goodyear tires, are they run flats?:

Lastly, no tread left on the other rear tire either:

That was an awesome burnout. The kid in the white C4 that went right after him was pretty wild too.

... that might be a donation to the NCM at best ... or a "give-a-away" car at best ... sell it

Default Burn-Out Competition at Carlisle

Pardon the interuption from a C3/4 interloper, but...

The paper taped to the window announced that the winner of Friday night's burn-out competition at the Carlisle Corvette Weekend was a manager at the Bowling Green Corvette Plant.

Guess that's why he didn't care what happened to his new Z06 to win.
