F/S 1965 Corvette convert 327/365
Helping a friend of the family sell this car.
It is a Jan 65 built original 327/365 car.
The car has all the tell tale signs of being legit, hi RPM redline, 80 pound oil pressure guage, big pulley alternator, low options
the options are:
AM/FM radio
L76 327/365 horse
4:11 positraction
M21 close ratio transmission
disc brakes
The previous owner purchased this car in 1989.
At the time of purchase the car had an NOM 68 327 in the car and mag wheels/wide tires.
Previous owner located and purchased a correct GM crate 365hp 327 from a Large dealership in Texas and had the engine Freight shipped to Michigan. At this time previous owner bought all the correct underhood pieces for a 365 hp 327 for the install, correct from the Air Breather to the oil pan.
the engine has a blank pad
The mags were replaced with knock off wheels and side exhaust was added.
The car went into deep indoor storage for many years until it was purchased this February.
Since buying the car, we have replaced the fuel tank, flushed lines and rebuilt the carb. The brakes were previously redone with SS calipers, and we flushed the brake lines.
The odometer was reset when the new motor went in, and shows 1700 miles.
In a case of just too many projects, this car is now available.
The car is located near Battle Creek, MI
Car has mild fender flairs
Covertible top is about 10 years old, no rips
693 Alternator 2818 carb 3844461 intake 6 QT pan
solid hinge pillars
solid pillars by the door jams
solid birdcage under the dash
body mount under the pass sill... clean as a whistle
high redline and oil pressure

Donny - nice job on the listing, wish all could be that way. Nice looking car, if I was single and I had the room, I'd be thinking hard about it.

Car looks great, very fair price. Should sell fast! With so many posting looking for cars, this is a fair deal on a nice looking car and should go fast.

Great listing, I too would like for everyone selling a car to be this detailed. Nice car. Bet it will be sold very soon. If I did not have a project going on, I would definitely buy your car.

Wish you were closer. Looks like a good deal especially for someone in your area.
BTW, Is the title clear and does the car have current registration/license tabs? Is the car road ready to drive 2,000 + miles?
Thanks, Doug

the car does have a clear title, and is very road ready. Motor runs strong, no over heating issues, good clutch, rear end is tight and no signs of rear bearing noise.
now driving 2000 miles with a 4:11 gear........ I'd do it, but I am a pretty sick individual

Wow ! When was the last time that you saw a high horse Midyear for sale for $30k ? As much as I like knockoffs, I have to admit, with the flares on the car, I would like to see it with the larger mag wheels that were taken off. Of course, I kinda liked the C1 with the the four frenched headlamps on the other thread.....
