C6 Z06 wheels on a C5
Anyone running the C6 Z06 wheels on there C5?
I ran across an Ebay add for chrome C6 Z06 wheels made with the correct offset to fit the C5, 18x8.5 and 19x10. The seller is Corvette Garage. I really like those wheels.
What size tires would be best to use with these wheels?
What do you guys think of how they look? Here is a pic of the wheels on a C5 from the Ebay add.

I am interested as well, I know the C6 Z has a different offset on our C5's......but does it make that big of a difference? Do they stick out that far or in and dont look good or rub?.......Who is running them on the car....any issues?

I have them on mine...here's some pics so you get the general idea of what they look like. Don't go by my setup though as the setup is customized (19's all around) to fit over C6 Z06 brakes. I had the C6 Z06 wheels that were made for a C5 before (17/18 set up)and they fit no problem...a bit heavier maybe but thats about it

Maybe I didnt say if it right.....Will the stock C6 Z06 18/19 wheels fit on the C5 Z06 without any issues due to the difference in the offsets?

Sorry Tom, I was responding to the original thread that talked about these wheels in a C5 setup...I just read your post...unfortunately, the answer is no...the offsets on the C6 rims are such that they will stick out about 1/2 inch outside your fenders

Just to clarify.....If you want the C6 ZO6 brake calipers, they will, or will NOT, fit with c5 size wheels, 17 and 18 inch, ......must you must run 19 inch front and rear with these brakes??
Further related question... if you know the answer.....Will the C6 ZO6 calipers mount up on stock size C5 rotors, or must one use C60ZO6 rotors also and only with the C6-ZO6 calipers???

The 17/18 set up was BEFORE I had the bigger brakes...so, yes, you need the 19'sAnd, yes, you need the C6 Z06 rotors as well for these calipers...the stock c5 rotors are way too small...and just so you know, the C6 Z06 calipers mount onto the wheel casting where a normal C5 caliper bracket hooks into...with Z brakes, there are no brackets

I'm fixin to order a set of C6 Z06 wheels for C5 application (17/18)
The seller says the offset is 56MM all the way around for these wheels. Is that the correct C5 offset, or am I getting rooked?

Larry, something doesn't sound right here. Offset has a direct tie into wheel width. The stock OEM sizes/offsets for a 2000 are:
Front 17" x 8.5", +58MM offset
Rear 18" x 9.5", +65mm offset
I've never heard of "56mm all around" What width are the wheels you're looking at?

18x9.5 @ +50mm 265/35/18 front & 19x12 @ +59mm 345/30/19 rear. these are OEM sizes on the rear. the front OEM size is +40mm.
and yes, they will stick out in the rear if you don't make other special arrangements.

I think I prefer the 18" front and 19" rear C6 Z06 sizes on the C5. I just think they look better with this style wheel. I saw the C6 Z06 wheels in stock C5 sizes, 17"F / 18"R on a C5 at a show yesterday and it didn't look right to me. This wheel needs to be bigger to look right. Hence my reason for posting, wanting your opinions.
Here is what Corvette garage says about fitment of them in thier listing,
