FIRST 2007 Champion, David Shen wins Race 4 and the TITLE
That is right boys....pack it in Shen is the king. One of the nicest guys at the track and another 2nd Generation winner today with his dad at the track too!
Dave holds a 102 point lead over Mike Conway with only 98 points max given out an any event....it is in the bag!!!

Mike Conway got by his nemesis to get to the final and was all smiles with the runner up and the unseating of Chris Young to earn the second spot for the invitation to the Wednesday night of thrills show in August.
Congrats boys. The battle is for second now for that second jacket.

Thanks guys it was another great day yesterday. It is so much fun to hang out with my fellow corvette racers. Congrats to Mike Conway on achieving his goal of making it to the night of thrills, he is truly a great racer and a great guy...
Special thanks go out to Tommy Michalkowski for helping diagnose a potential serious issue after first round of eliminations and helping us get it fixed and Lou Vernarelli for helping us get the car turned around between qualifiers. That is what us corvette guys are all about.
As for the championship I couldn’t have done it with out the help of some great people. Thank you to Leo from Neverlift for taking my car in last year and redoing the entire rear suspension and giving me a very consistent car that could hook up on an ice skating rink. It was another all Neverlift final yesterday. Also, thanks Edgar, the sponsors, and Raceway Park who give us a place to race and have fun. Most importantly thank you to my crew chief (my dad) who makes all of this worth it.

Very tough competitors and a couple of the nicest guys in the series.
You guys have raised the bar on the pro 10.oh. Chris & I are going to have to find a little more hook and HP to stay in the game.
Congrats to Mike C on making the night of thrills. It was fun hangn with you guys yesterday despite my horrenous first round loss in the brackets. Maybe we'll see you at the show.
