Corvette storming of Compo Beach
Westport is sometimes called "the Beverly Hills of the East". I'm just glad they didn't kick us off their beach.

Here are my pics!! Enjoy!!
Heading up toward the Merritt, bright and early in the morning
When we got to the Merritt mobile station meeting spot, this cop strolled in. Bob tried to distract him with other prey but he just left.....
and waited for us about 3 miles from the meeting spot on a turn, radar pointed right at us!! Luckily, we got by unscathed!!
Arriving at the main meeting spot
The man who put all this together, we may have to nominate you for CT regional coordinator after that awesome run!!!
Charlie checks out Andrew's fatboy, that sounds weird.
The rest of us check out some engine bays while we wait
And we're off!! First, we went through this gorgeous town, with mansions to our left.....

Uh hoh! I think we got trouble!!
Another one!! This can't be good!!
Turns out, they were blocking traffic for a funeral procession of a Navy Seal who died in the line of duty.
Over 150 bikers went to the burial.
Glad we were there to pay our respects
We actually got to see where they were burying him
Back to the twisties!!
And more twisties!!
Those turns are coming up faster and faster!!
Those sharp turns were coming up fast!!
Gorgeous scenery everywhere!

We just couldn't get enough!!!
These were 25-35 mph rated roads, it was like doing a road course!!! Great job picking them out!! I can safely say, we all had an amazing time and we should definitely make this a yearly event!
