FS: h/c LS1 Longblock+ from my 00 coupe (400rwhp) local pu/delivery in VA only $1750
Little more motivated to sell this now since some unexpected expenses popped up. The motor is at the shop that did my engine swap in Chesapeake, VA until next week when I pick it up. So pick up there or in Ashburn, VA after that.
It is my original LS1 motor for my 00 coupe, 72k on the bottom, 30k on the h/c, all quality/proven parts used on upgrades. No oil pan or front or rear covers. I have a valley cover for it, but no seal or bolts at this time. Valve covers included.
Description:
LS1 stock bottom end (72k miles)
LS6 heads, comp cam: cam, rockers, comp 921 springs, comp lifters.
Center bolt valve covers included, modified to fit the rockers.
Cometic head gasket and ARP head bolts.

No oil pan or engine covers or knock sensors, the usual.
Ported oil pump, double roller timing set, valve covers included.
400 rwhp and rwtq was through 3.42s. Have several dyno sheets.
Engine burns no oil, change every 3500 or so, never have to add.
Compression and leak-down test done, all good.
Still got 28mpg on the highway with 3:42s.
Would also be willing to trade straight up for a CCW drag pack in decent condition.

Yeah I know I could part it out and get about the same money, but I just dont have the time to deal with it, and I'd probably just put it in storage if I had to.
Let me know if you are interested in the longblock, maybe you could get the heads and part it out yourself?

I'd stick with the entire pkg, and for that price, it should sell by it self. A very good price for anyone who needs to rebuild their engine or are looking for a new one. Its thousands below the price of a new one and would last another 5-10 yrs... Good luck with the sale.
