Default 2008 C6 LS-3 dyno with LG Motorsports G7X-4 cam only/no tune yet

Hi Guys,

Sorry guys, 2008 not 07

Here it is. This is an 2008 C6 with an LG G7X-4 cam with LG Pro Long Tube Headers, K&N Air Charger, and stock performance muffler but with No tune. Computer tune to come this week.

484rwhp 440 rwtq

We did another pull after the engine was allowed to cool off and hit 488rwhp. I don't have that graph scanned in yet but I will get it up later.

This indicates that there is some heat related timing control issues just like the first dyno pulls of the original C6 Z06 before a tune.

At any rate, it looks like an easy 500 rwhp or there about with just the tune. And we are working on having a set of ported heads ready soon to install to get those numbers also.

Thanks

Lou Gigliotti LGM

So it is a 2008 LS3 and not a 2007 as it says both once in the original title and once in the text LOL right?

That's a strong dyno number for sure.

Incredible numbers!! How well does it drive with this cam? Is it considered small, medium, or large?

Drives fine.

We have two cams larger, and 3 cams smaller. We thought it was a good start.

Just the stock NPP dual mode exhaust option. which should give similar gains as an aftermarket catback.

Last time I checked, small, medium or large were not good describers of camshafts. What are the specs on this baby? You guys are doing a great job and will definately reap the benefits for being the first ones. Congratulations.

That is great, but what is different from the 2005-2006 cars that you did the L92 conversions on? I don't any of them breaking the 500whp barrier. Who is porting the heads?

no substitute for cubic inch the compression is higher on the ls3 then on the ls2 L92 conversion

That is pretty stout for just those 3 mods. Noticed a C6 LS2 with similar power and same cam and long-tubes but had AFR heads/FAST combo with 487.0rwhp/436.2rwtq SAE. I assume that was tuned so with a tune, even better for the LS3.
