you can have a car go to two different shops, dyno near exact numbers, and then have the graph lines appear quite different, even though every plot point might be essentially identical. Shop A might use one set of x/y increments, shop b might use a different. Look at graph A and go "wow....thats really flat tq", then view graph B and say "wow, very peaky". graphs are great, but the raw data points are better so you don't get "trapped" by "optical illusions".

Very interested in seeing the MN6 results. But comparing this sheet to mine with headers/intake/tune. I'm way ahead in TQ/HP. By 3Krpms I'm already at 350tq. Pretty much confirms my thought that if an LS2 owner wants stock LS3 power they only need to add a couple bolt-ons
It's difficult to compare numbers otherwise (and LG Motorsports are known for having a more "conservative"/realistic dyno calibration than many shops use for after mod readings).
EDIT: I know you have used Cartek in the past and they are very well respected, also.

thats a good question. I've never owned an automatic car, only manauls, but from personal experience with my '02 z06, and using the exact same dyno facility (MTI houston, tx), I believe my initial dyno at 700 mile was around 351/350 SAE. Made an oil change after, drove the car pretty hard with many 1/4 mile runs, redynoed at 2700 miles and made like 357/353.
so maybe 3-7 range is pretty common after break in

Sorry if I was not clear. What I am asking is if LGM ran the same dyno on the same car, but with a broke-in motor, under similar conditions, what would the estimated change be in tq/hp. Just curious what to expect from a dyno from motor that is broken in vs. 29 miles.

On man I can't wait. This is exactly what I was predicting. Close to 400 whp for the new 2008's
Already 370 whp for the auto. Woot come on M6!!!

Is 384rwhp still considered 'close' to 400?
Of course if this thing puts down 397rwhp in stock trim (not going to happen) than I too would agree that it is VERY close to 400.
