I wish I could find the old thread from a year ago when people predicted that Atomic Orange would not be popular enough to last more than one model year. These people thought it would only be about 5% of production, which would mean GM would probably drop it. I predicted it would be 8-10% of production. Told ya so!

It's amazing what I learn every year when this list comes out. I did not know that Z06's did not come with HUD. DOH!

interesting that Black & LMB are more popular in coupe than vert while AO and Monty Red are more popular in vert, all other colors are evenly split

only 14% of buyers bought manual transmission with Z51, you could never guess that from the forum

looks like people who buy verts tend to get them loaded

Thanks Rick, once again the two REDS combined are the most popular color.

Wonder why they still list the Automatic transmission as a 4 speed?

Good year, but what about the over 6000 unsold Vettes ? (or I presume them unsold when I see them on the Jeff Harrdy site). How does this number compare to this time of year with 05s and 06s previously ?

The most interesting stat for me was to find out the fact that the Z06 was the most popular body style for Canadian Corvettes! So if you own a 2007 Z06 up here, it's more common than a 2007 coupe or a 2007 vert!

They produced 860 cars for Canada, and 318 were Z06s, 286 were coupes and 256 were verts.

The Z-51 stick figures are really surprising. It looks like the car has moved to the GT--auto tranny, non-performance suspension, side of the ledger rather than sports car. But, that's been happening for a long time. Lots of Z-06s sold, too. I still think that car will lose its
"market rip-off" soon--maybe this year with the base picking up some hp. For $70K it would be a great deal. Not so much at $85.

I think you took that statistic out of context. Six speed Z51's are 14% of all Corvettes built. But of all Z51's built, 40% of them had the six speed manual.
