FrankTank's C5 Elemental Designs Install
Tank brought his sweet C5 to Dave and myself and said go to town.
The equipment:
Elemental Designs EDI 6500 component speakers
Elemental Designs 13kv2 subwoofer
2 - Elemental Designs Nine.2x amplifiers
30sq feet Elemental Designs EDEAD UE
KNUKONCEPTZ Wiring
HUMOUNT illuminated radio mount
Pioneer 6900 Headunit
DavidNavone Ipod Cable
DrivenAudio speaker baffles, sub box, amp cover
The vehicle
The goods
Dave made quick work with the deadner and the 6500s are installed
A little modding in the dash
Headunit installed and illumination working, we removed the factory cigarette lighter and installed a swith there so that the lighting can be turned off if need be
Amps mounted and then removable cover placed on them to keep everything looking nice and clean. Lighting to come soon under the cover which will glow out around the amps
And last but not least in a very crappy picture the sub
All and all Franks system is bad ***. The 6500s combined with some thick deadner sounds amazing. The midbass is excellent and the highs are soo smooth not harsh at all. The Humount for the radio looks sweet I totally love it. The pioneer is a nice radio once you figure out all the controls, for the ipod we used a David Navone cable so you can do all the controls from the ipod, yet still get a quality lineout and charge the ipod. The USB while I only played with it briefly is a really nice feature, we ran that into the glovebox for future usage. The Nine2x's are really way more power then need be but if you know Frank thats not gonna hurt anyone. System sounds amazing Questions comments

Another top notch install by you and Dave! I've heard it in person and it sounds awesome.

A big thanks to Greg and Dave. They really know their stuff and do great work I don't know too many people who would make a custom amp box using a table saw in the dark (well with a little light)
I could not be more happy with the system. Great power, but not overdone. The door speakers are amazing, and even by themselves put out a good amount of base.
I would highly recommend Greg and Dave to anyone who needs an install.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a Kenwood 7100 DD setup. I don't want to add a sub in the vert. That area is strictly for golf clubs.
Do you think this is a viable setup without the sub?
PM me with the speaker info and cost if you would.
Thanks,
Kevin
