Annual Norwegian Corvette meeting.

If I ever have the "discretionary funds", I'd like to ship my '80 to a country with an active C3 group and hang out and cruise with them for a while. Norway just joined my list.
Nice pics. Sincere thanks for letting us know about the event.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing! How many cars did you altogether in the meeting? You have some really nice C3's over there!
Is that yellow C1 from Sweden? I think I saw dome pics from Corvette Möttet i Sverige from the same car? I was attending Swedish meet couple of years ago in Sunne, but that C1 wasn't there...
Here in Finland we hope to brake 100 Corvettes at our own meeting in August!

thanks for sharing the pics...good people and beautiful sharks, nice clean roads, good weather, breathtaking views...
...only, i dont see the crowd of kids and youngsters trying to 'jump' on the cars to see, admire and touch ( ) them during the event as you would have in italy or spain!!

Here are more pics: http://www.corvettebergen.com/artikk...ndstreff.shtml
Landstreff means this is an event for the hole country.Next year it will be in Trondheim.
C3 are most common. Not many C6'es yet. Mostly becouse of the insane taxes we have. The tax on a new Z06 is more than 200 000$. Thats the reason for all the c6's and many of the c5's only drive with temporary lisensplates.
The weather was wonderfull, almost to warm for those of us driving on the racetrack Friday. Old bigblokk C3's dont like 30+ degrees celsius to well...
A great weekend!

Awesome show. I was amazed at how many C-3's were there. I think that the bummer about gatherings here is that with so many new "perfect" C-6 type cars, the tours almost don't favor the C-3 drivers. The turnout at most shows is about 10-20 percent C-3. A stunning show. And at least 5 or 6 68's no less!

Vad kostar en ny Corvette i Norge? (What is the price of the new Corvette in Norway?) Here the price tag says about 135,000USD. That makes the tax about 70,000USD. And I thought that was much...
