Have any of you heard about a possible new intake from BBK? Take a look at this thread on Thirdgen
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/tp...ake-setup.html
I know it's an old thread but if you check out the last couple pages they're new, pay particular attention to posts by Bryan Rogers.
You guys think this is all fluff, or maybe we could actually see something new on the market for TPI rather than them eliminating something?

I would love to have a one piece intake manifold, thats the ONLY reason I was interested in an LT1 intake and all the other TPI intakes are expensive. If it can compete with a SR and cost upwards of about $400-$600 you better believe i'd buy one.
P.S. good to hear they're still working on it.

from what i heard bbk put it on the back burner for now because the tech rep at bbk told me they are going full force on the lsx engines and the newer stangs and try not to throw up import crap.the tpi intake was supposed to be released over 2 years ago i don't think it will ever be put into production .they got the ls-x, the mustangs and those imports that are the big money makers for them .don't hold your breath i think its been trashed ,they don't give a crap about the 22 year old tpi engines .i guess if it don't make money it don't make sense.

Interesting! It would still take awhile before you can buy one though.
