The best "wax" is actually proper procedure before applying the wax. Claybarring and polishing a car prior to waxing will ultimately give you the best shine and durability! As far as wax goes, most people on the forum will argue that Zaino, Adam's or Meguiars are the best.

Wax is a very loose term. If you want more shine use a wax. If you want better long lasting protection use a Zaino type product.

Wax does not last as long as a zaino product.

I use Meguiars NXT (Next Generation). It is easy to go on and come off, smells great and shines like crazy.

Prepare yourself....
