Just another Corvette guy
Did you buy the color-changed black/black car with the wrong hood and missing wiper door assembley?
Have you already paid?
Jeez, good luck pal!

Michael "Monthief" used to sell Corvettes under the name "Unlimited Corvettes". I know because I bought my '80 from him. He outright lied. "The car is excellent in every way." "They don't come much better than this." Blah, blah, blah. The car was a basket case. It BARELY ran on 6 cylinders. Bubba had obviously done a lot of "repairs" everywhere on the car, including a color change backyard paint job, complete with abundant overspray.
I made the mistake of trying to fix it rather than filing a complaint immediately, but that probably wouldn't have done any good considering his record. I lost my case because I had altered the vehicle after I took possession.
He said I should have hired someone to inspect the car. (He was in Huntington Beach, CA, I am in Minnesota.) I think that's referred to as blaming the victim.
