cleaning transparent targa top on a c5

the top is lexan and should be treated as such. Use Plexus, DP Plex-all, or Diamonites Liquid Armor. For light scratches a plexiglass polish called Novus works well. Windex (original) could be to strong and damage the UV protection coating over time. Newer versions without Ammonia maybe safe. In you have tinted windows, the cleaners I provided above work well also and can also be used on taillamps and headlamps to keep them looking new ~

I have Novus and it's great stuff. They sell a package that includes a regular cleaner and also 2 other bottles for light and heavy scratches.
If you're going to use a glass cleaner product. Select one made for auto windows that states it's window tine safe. If a product has ammonia in it, this can cause hazing over a period of time.

I have found Z6 to work extremely well to clean and protect. I also have given it a coat of CS and highly recommend it. I would not use AIO or any other product containing even the mildest abrasive unless a trusted source has already determined it will not harm it.

I have read elsewhere that you are not supposed to use "wax" on the top, but I think I recall that Sal Zaino said that Zaino was safe? Hope that is right.
