I don't think I've seen anything this pretty. Williams Performance did the install. The only mods are A.R. Headers and a Vararam. It's otherwise completely stock. It's converted to wet sump.
The car drives like a dream and has lots of B_ _ _ _S. The torque is great so I've been able to lower the TC lockup because of it. You can tell I'm really stoked.
My 364 will go up for sale next week when I can get some pictures.

LS7 C5

Very clean install
My LS7 will be installed in about a week or two with RPM level 5 A4.
It is not a crate motor, I had it built from bare block so I could use C5 reluctor gear.
How well did the coil covers fit? Did you have to mod them to make them fit?
I was thinking of cutting a hole in coil cover for oil filler cap but it looks like maybe the covers will clear cap
It must be a blast to drive

My buddies LS7 A4 conversion ran FANTASTIC. He recently sold it, but it ran 10's Never skipped a beat, car was plain awesome. One heck of a motor

It's a crate motor with the wet sump and C5 reluctor installed.
The fuel rail covers fit fine. But the oil filler on the LS7 valve covers is shorter. The C5 filler is too long. It was a struggle to get the driver side cover on because of a tab on the cover toward the driver. I snipped it in half and the braided fuel line goes right by the tab now. Look at picture 5 on the right of the fuel line in the hole. It's a jagged cut. I'll get to it. :o I like them so that I can get some gawking from those that otherwise wouldn't know it's a 427.
The torque is amazing. You can lower shift points and TCC lockup making it real comfortable to drive, even with 3.90's and a PT4000.
Mines a level 5 too. I suspect we'll need every level we can get.

It's a wet sump. Check out the dipstick in the photos. But, the valve cover with mine has a short filler in it. All the pictures I've seen of LS7 covers have fillers on the cover.

An LS7 crate motor with the C5 reluctor wheel conversion and wet sump is something I'm interested in. I sure would like to explore this further.

There's not much more to it. Here's what I remember about the differences other than wet sump and reluctor.

Headers.
block taped for LS1 sensors and wires extended.
btw, I think you meant injector harness adapters above instead of coil pack
throttle body wiring adapter.
crank and cam sensor wires.
air bridge tube to TB extended.
1 or 2 hoses blocked off.

I think he had a mild cam in it, otherwise yes. He put it in a C5 and that thing ran like a bat atta hell.

Hey Joe, thanks. We have shown it a few times since the transplant. It's definitely got some TQ to it We have a small cam installed and dyno'd just over 530hp/508tq if I recall correctly. Enjoy your new toy
