WARNING TO ALL THIEVES: Scam me or other members and you'll go to jail like this guy.
I got ripped off here awhile back so I went after the scummy bastard. With some perseverance he was finally arrested last month and booked into the county jail. Here's his photo at the beginning of his 2-week stay. The loser posted bond and is now awaiting trial.
It all started way back when, 5 years ago:
July 2002 Mr. Bynum sells power effects exhaust to forum member VetteNoob. He had some problems with the transaction, not sure of the details.

Sept 2002 Mr. Bynum aka "Roadster88" sells a body kit to forum member bill mcdonald for $4000 but never ships it:

I got all the documents together and contacted the other victims. Contacted local Sherriff's department, and followed up with them over the course of several months. Best $120 I ever spent.
So if you're ever considering not honoring a transaction, first think of poor Mr. Bynum who figured he'd get $120 richer at the expense of some kid across the country. And hang onto that free money, you'll need it to buy some KY Jelly for your sore rectum, you *******.

I had a similar type of scenerio. I spent more money than I lost, but ended up tracking down someone who scammed me for $170 and skip traced to him family who lived nearby. FUnny how the whole family shows up from holidays at mom's. He was suprised I found him, but even more suprised how I was starting to take the ladders off of his truck (he was to repair gutters) for the money he owed me. I was getting my $170 somehow.

There's no such thing as a one-time thief. Remember that next time someone rips you off. They got to you because the person they scammed before let them get away with it. And if you don't do anything about it, they'll rip off someone else next.
Very well done. I'd bet thats not his first mugg shot.

thats great that you stepped up and went after this SOB. Too many times we hear about deals gone bad that never get resolved, but reading this makes my day- just hope he gets some time out of this, and that his cell mate introduces him to the alabama black snake, and the art of salad tossing real soon.......
