1979 L82 4 Speed 7300 sold
For sale is a 1979 L82 4 speed. Numbers matcing motor and transmission. The suspension has been completely rebuilt and upgraded. Handles better than any c3 corvette. New tie rods, idler arm, bushings, ball joints etc. Larger sway bars, 1.25 front .75 rear. stiffer springs 460inlbs front 300 inlbs rear, composite rear spring, and new kyb shocks. The rear trailing arms wheel bearings and half shafts were also completely rebuilt by van steel last winter. Has new calipers, rotors, brake hoses and pads. New radiator, heater core, altenator, water pump, distributor, belts, all fluids have been changed. I have true dual exhaust with stainless dynomax ultra flow mufflers. I think the engine was pulled at one time because it has an after market oil pump, chrome timing chain cover, chorme oil pan, and seems to have a cam. The interior has new seats, center consol, and stearing wheel. Also have a pioneer cd player with updated sony explode speakers w/ an amp. Orginial radio still in place. The paint is not show quality but is in driver quality. The car is originally bought and sold in Canada. Have build sheet and invoices from GM Canada. Only 4,062 L82 4 speeds were made this year, and only about 1600 L82's were shipped to Canada even less 4 speeds. The cars odometer is showing about 65,000 kilometers, most likley rolled so 165k kilometers. I still have the spare tire and holder just did not like the look of it so took it off but I still have it. The car mecanicly is turn key its a nice driver and a good little project since most of the expensive stuff is done. My number is 401 632 2649. I will return messages if i dont answer
