Default Valve Seal Install

I just finished installing valve seals in my wife's 82 and thought I would document it.
I have it on my web site and in Word. Email me for a copy of the Word document.
Please contact me with comments.
I am working on oscilloscope pattern interpretation as promised.

Joe, Great Photos and instructions! Where can I get the fitting that injects air into the cylinder when replacing the seals? Larry

Kd tools, Snap-on, Matco tools, Lisle tools and many more. The one in the photo I purchased in the '60s. If you have trouble finding one email me and I can help you.

great article and answers a question I have just poster re seals / O rings . You mentioned the use of oil deflectors / shields when using just "O"rings , are these the deep collars at the top of the valve stem ?

Cheers

Mike .

Excellent write-up and photos!

Mike - Yes, the deflectors/shields are the stamped deep collars between the valve spring and the retainer.
