Default Car Delivered: Final FedEx Scorecard...

I give FedEx (Passport) car transport an "A" for this one.

Car was picked up 2 days after I called them. It was delivered on the 8th day after pickup, from CT to IL (they had a few cars on that truck!)

Nice big enclosed rig. Very very professional, friendly driver, very helpful. Called me a few times, easy to work with. Office people at FedEx were excellent too.

Price wasn't what I'd call cheap, but not especially high and their online quote was less than the other carriers I checked. Stuck to the quote even after the gas prices skyrocketed in subsequent days.

I would strongly recommend this outfit (and this driver) for moving Corvettes.

Good to hear....glad it worked out for you. I'll have to add Fedex to my good guys list.

Now how about the 69, I know we all like to see pics of new rides.

glad everything worked out.

Lets see some pics when you get her cleaned up

It is always a nice thing when they are calling you just to give you an update instead of you having to call them to find out where in the h33l they are

Steve, do they offer satellite (gps) tracking of the truck and is it accurate?
Do they have a website?
I'm always looking for options in case I want to ship something cross country rather than load up my own rig. Thanks

They do not have GPS. The website suggests sending an email for updates, but that's not very efficient. The website offers an instant accurate quote and a good FAQ. I called them on Day 7, and the lady there asked me to hang on, and got the driver on the line. Told me exactly where he was, and when to expect him. (he was early, the next day) Not very high tech, but got the job done.

I took a few pics... the car looks decent, but I sold the wheels that were on it pretty quickly. Its being fitted with Ralleys and a new set of redline Diamond Backs. Ill post pics when the new shoes are on.

I called them back and told them how pleased I was. I'd use them again tomorrow.

Good to hear it all worked out good. I was wondering how this was going to turn out. If I ever have to ship a car, I will give them a nod.
