Default New Z06 front brakes... upgrade on C4?

The new Z06 is an absolute piece of artwork, and I've noticed their HUGE front brake calipers/rotors have come up for sale on fleaBay... Which got me thinking... Is there any practical way to install these onto our C4's? Has anyone done this already, or is it impossible? These brakes look insane and the prices seem reasonable

Can be done IF you buy larger wheels 18+inch.

C6 Z06 brakes are OK for street driving, but a lot of C6 Z06 guys have noticed they don't actually work that well on the track, and the pads for them are really expensive.

Aren't the vanes on the left rotor backwards and detrimental for cooling purposes?

Considering the bling-to-racer ratio on the C4 forum, I don't think that will be a concern.

Yes they're backwards (same p/n on both sides).

I don't know about the cooling effects.

I spun my Wilwoods by hand, and they seemed to move more air when spun backwards (vanes curving in direction of rotation). My HVAC design experience agrees with this.

There was a recent post about this in the road race section. Here it is at post #8.

Ahhh... his drivers side rotor was 150F hotter. In the photo above, the drivers side rotor appears to be the correct one (typically the vanes go opposite the direction of the holes, so there's one hole per vane).

If this is the case, then the backwards rotor is running cooler.

Can someone verify this?

Can the new Z06 calipers be used with the older Z06 rotors so that they are on the proper side?

I beleive new ones are 14", old ones are 13". You'd need a new bracket, at the very least.

Personally, I think the pad-per-piston design looks like a pad tapering/fade nightmare waiting to happen.

update... looking at pics, it looks like there's two right side rotors. Someone else said there's 2 lefts. Still not entirely sure.

the first pic has aftermarket rotors with c6z calipers. any c5/c6 bracket will get them on a c4 with c6z rotors. of course like mentioned need 18" wheels. but i agree they are nice looking...but heavy!

Bolt holes would be in the right place, but the caliper and bracket want to take up the same piece of real estate.
