Default Rare opportunity to purchase the most well known Z06 out there.

Rare opportunity to purchase the most well known Z06 out there.

2006 C6 Z06

VIN # 1G1YY25E865116420

The mods..

-Air Charger intake system
-Tune
-LG exhaust switch
-Pilot Sport tires. (345's on the rear) Fit, look and hook excellent.
-SS brake lines
-Hawk ceramic pads
-Kooks long tube headers without cats. (Willing to take kooks off if not wanted.)
-Powder coated rims....not painted.
-Tints on sidewindows and rear. Just dark enough. NY is not a tint friendly state and never had police problems. Can see out fine at night.
-Tinted sidemarkers to finalize the sinister look.
The performance..

The car has been to the drag track once. Didn't see many passes as I was kicked out for going under 11.5 w/o a roll bar.
With just intake and tune ran an 11.2@129 with an easy 1.9 60'.
With just the intake and tune raced and beat Ford GT and crushed a 997 Turbo.
Car is faster now with headers but do not have final dyno numbers yet. This is a 10 second over 200mph car.

The look..

The options...

XM
Is a Museum Delivery car.

This is why I'm selling...

The Story
The car was in an accident a few months back. Young girl blew a light and hit front drivers then rear drivers. No airbag deployment or injuries. Fully repaired and checked out by GM dealership and race shop did alignment and looked over suspension work. Car drives like the day I got it.

Other info
Car suffered the roof problem. New style roof was installed by dealer as per recall. Due to my complaining about that they gave me (it's the vin number not the owner that counts. This will pass onto you) free oil changes for a long time and full bumper to bumper warranty till something like 2011 and 80k miles. The 100k mile warrenty on 07's is not bumper to bumper. I will find out exact details shortly.

15k miles

The price
Asking $63,000

Best of luck, this car secured my decision to pursue a black on black z.

Just out of curiosity, and I am sure you will get the question;
Were the pics taken before or after the accident.

Car is beautiful in black.

Great looking car. I was actually looking at Z06 but have since considered just buying a C6 (34000-38000 [New 2007 38,709]) and adding a healthy forged 427 to through some boost at with a set of twins - all for less than a C6Z06.

phantasms: i agree. i love my car and it's fun and it looks sick. but i could get something else that's sick in a different way, reliable, my own, and overall my automotive bills every month would be less
Whats the crap about the Corvette not being reliable?

Good luck with the sale!

I agree but I suffered all kinds of slack. I tried to trade in a CTS-V that was in an accident. They pulled the carfax and immediatley wanted to dock 10,000 from the intial trade in value. Its the nature of the beast.

Some states you can sue for dminished value of a vehicle. 63,000 is a good price for this car, and I dont want to sound harsh, but it was wrecked - please keep that in mind.

I'm going to run a carfax just to see what comes up. Do you have any pics of the accident? The shop that did the repairs?

Do you still have the stock parts?

I seen you were talking about a 335i. I had one for 4 months. A great car, but I missed the brute force of the Corvette. Great midrange torque on the Beemer.

I am wondering if it has the original clutch and how it's doing. Email me at john@ls1tech.com if the car is still available.

I love it!

If a C6 were selling with an accident history people would bash the heck out of it, but oh not the beloved Z06 - its immune to diminished value

Damn I want one!

What an awesome, sinister lookin car!! Very very nice!! I love the total blackout look you gave it. If I can ask, did you have the original wheels powder coated, or did you just buy some from a vendor that already had them that way? That looks so great, if its not too expensive to do, I would think everyone with a black car would do that! Good luck on your sale!
