Gas cap looks fuggly.
Fender flares look Needs some super wide tires tucked back there. Needs new interior and drivetrain. I see an engine in the garage, any chance that could be purchased at a good price?
If the price is low then this car is perfect for a custom ride, you now can chose your engine and tremec or keisler 6 spd. Can chrome the sidepipes but the black could be cool.

Needs new paint too. Seeing how a few have built their own paint booths in their garage these past few days, might be a cool father/son project of painting this one. Seeing how your garage is full right now, a temp tent can be had for cheap to put up in your driveway. Thats what I'm doing my frame off in. So its feasable.

Again, if the price is low then looks like a decent deal...but the gas cap is still weird. I like the hood pins!

I'm not usually too crazy about the customs but for a driver project, what the heck....I was with you 'til I saw the gas cap

....then I bailed...but the seats are nice...

If you can get it for $2,000 you're probably OK. I wouldn't pay more.

Hardtops go for around 500 to 1000 depending on condition. I sold a very nice one last year for 750.

Gas cap

2000 Not worth much more

Yes it is. But the car has potential. The work it takes to do the tilt front end and install the flairs is done. Mostly all there too. I would do a frame off, Bad a$$ Big Block Crate engine, TKO 600 and Wide tires Jet hot the hookers, Nice paint, custom interior. Maybe a Cobra style gas cap could be adapted to work in the same spot and not be so hideous. Sure is a lot more convenient spot for it even if it is fugly. That is the thing about customs, everyone has a different idea what is It's worth what you want to pay for it. Try to get a stock bodied project car to this point if you want to go with the tilt front and flairs and buy the parts that are there and see what it cost. And it's a 69 vert!

the gas cap got put there because the builder was tired of having gas spilled all over his paint...sounds familar doesn't it

ME TOO! Good idea, Bad execution. Work around it! A little modification and a billet cobra style flip cap will help a lot. Only drawback on an otherwise nice project car! You could turn that into one of the coolest cars on the C3 forum!

I've been looking for a set of those wheels? Can I buy them from you if you drag it home? (I even have a set of rims you can use to hold the car off the ground)

I like customs but that one went too far over the top and as a parts car pretty slim pickings my value guess 1500 tops if the frame was good
the rest is pretty much dumpster food

The more I look at it, I'm kinda liking the gas filler location. If it were recessed (or frenched in) it might be cool. As it is now, a good idea gone bad. /:\
