I ordered an OBD1 cable online from aldlcable.com on Friday at 3pm. The cable arrived in Monday’s mail. They’re in CA while I’m in WI. That’s pretty good service!

ghlkal: just some "words of wisdom" for you from someone who has been where you appear to be. Getting a new tool is a wonderful experience, but there is a learning curve to use it in a efficient manner. I have had my scan tool for almost a year and am still learning. I have a mentor (gbody5) who is showing me the "light"

Thanks for the sound advice, Sam. I've been scanning my OBDII Pontiac for a while, but it takes time to make sense of everything. I've been spending time reading this forum which seems to be a great place to begin.
