Default Vettech Stage 1 Cam, Headers, Hi Flow Cats, Vortex, 160 Stat, Dyno Tune...541RWHP!

I just got my 07 Z06 back from Vettech, on L.I., this past Thursday. What a difference!!! It feels like a whole different car. It starts fine, idles great and buries you in the seat. It made 474 with just bullets when I brought it in. Now it makes 541 RWHP (622 at the crank) and 504 ftlbs.of torque. Vettech is a class operation. From the minute you bring in your car they cover your seat and steering wheel in plastic and treat it the way it should be. When I picked up my car it was fully detailed! They did the same thing with Hoffies car when he brought his in for a cam and tune. I drove him up there to pick up his C6 after his cam install and he was expecting his car to be dusty & dirty after being in the shop for the week. It was parked out front, glowing. His C6 is now making 444 RWHP! Dave, Victoria and Will...Thanks for everything Now.....what to do next?

Video at idle.....http://www.vettejoel.com/Z06idle.mov

I love it when shops take care of thier customers with respect and pay attention to details. Good to hear that such servce still exist and going the extra mile to offer show with some Go.

Oh yeah, congrats on your new found power. Take it easy and don't be greasy

Not sure...I know it's on the box, which is in my shed, and its below 0 with the wind right now. I'll let you know tomorrow. The cam was from MTI in Texas.
No, it doesn't hang at all. It's not that radical.

Default Great job Joel

Hey Joel,
Your car looks and sounds great! Nice touch with the tint and blackouts. Another great ride that you have built!

On your power
Can you tell us what the SAE #s were
You say the canshaft is from MTI
Why did your tuner not use his own cam grind

Can you tell us how much this package is.
I will be doing something soon.

Joel....isn't Vettech the body shop that painted your C6 cpe? In the past I asked you for the name of the body shop you use and I think I wrote in my day planner "Vettech". This must be a full service corvette facility.
Z looks killer.

Leo, You must mean my C2 coupe. Yes they did do some paint work on it. I had a few blems on the car and they were able to match the color perfectly. It was repainted in 1988 and you can't tell where they touched it up. Again, another great job by Vettech.
They also painted the Motor city molds hood on my C6 off the car. That too was a perfect match. They also painted Hoffies hood too.

Awesome, Joel! Now....Right Now....I want to be first on the list for this one when you move on to..what is it...#19??

Now we need your car and Hoffies, next to each other idling then take off. Together, I think you guys will vibrate the Island!

And Ed...if you draft right, Joel will pull you to Carlisle
