Default My Winnebago C6 (Pics inside)

Happy to report that even with this awful sustained winter weather, that the wide-body project is slowly but surely coming together. My painter sent these pics over to me Saturday.

Pics sure give you a clear depiction of just how massive the OEM rolling-stock on the Z actually is. With this thing looking like a freakin Winnebago, it is going to be one embarrassing 45 mile trip home from body shop! (Unfortunatley I will not be able to pick it up at night). Because I don't have tinted windows yet, I will probably be wearing a brown-bag over my head! Ha! Futz.

I will post better pics soon once wheels are on. Brakes will have to wait a little while. Having Z-rotors nickel plated.

Large pics beware!

You lost me a little with the comment "...it's going to be one embarrassing 45 mile trip home from body shop...".

Why will driving it home be embarrassing...aren't you trying to make your C6 look like a Z06? I would think you would be proud of it and not embarrassed.

For the most part, I'm not a big fan of these conversions but I thought your car looked good! Don't be embarrassed.

I'm thinkin' Bone is refering to the undersized tires he will be running before he has a chance to upgrade.

I think he is referring to the fact that the car looks a little off with the wheel/tire package he currently has on it

It looks like someone beet me to it.

Yes VetteNut and Fright88 are correct. (Whoops sorry if that wasn't clear the way I originally wrote it). Yes I was referring to the fact that it must be driven home with stock C6 wheels.

Love those wide body conversions. Looks down right silly with those stock rims on it now. enjoy.

Looks really good. The side marker is a great touch.

Thanks Shawn....I'm going to run the GM OEM polished Z06 wheels on the GY SC's. Hoping by the time I wear these out there will be some other tire companies making the larger sizes.

Just funning around with that. I'm sure most people who see the car wouldn't have a clue except for the handful of car nutz that will see me.

Hey Joel!
I have not seen many with the GM euro-spec side marker yet, so I figure I'd jump on it. Thanks Bro and congrats again on your new Zen-Oh-Six!

Glad you're still checking the C6 board!

BTW...I'm still waiting for a big pictoral thread on that new bad-boy.

Bone
