They came out great on the car! Very Nice!
Might I also add to anyone contemplating this upgrade, that front C6 calipers are functionally identical to C5 calipers, cost the same but have a bigger 'corvette' script on them.

Cool writeup!
I keep going back and forth on this... Stock seems to be fairly good, at least I can lock the tires up at reasonable speeds. Perhaps it's more at higher speeds this helps. (Also I prefer the look of the originals for some reason)
Anyway, a few questions:
Do you use the stock (or stock replacement if you get braided) brake hoses? I mean, you don't need '97+ flexible brake hoses, or some weird crossbred brake hoses, do you?
If someone weren't going to do the rear also, which things could they skip? I'm guessing the rear rebuild kit. What about the rubber boot thing, and the banjo washers, and anything else?
Any guess on weight change? Or on weight change compared to the C4 brakes with eradispeed rotors?

Great write-up and thanks, so what was your total cost? ....Another option is buy the total kit from Vette Brakes for about $1,500.

NCM Lifetime # 982
The bias spring will cut down on the nose dive when braking hard.
