Default ##UPDATE## Just lost my Vette Pickup through fire

As the title says Iwas driving home lunchtime and suddenly there was bellowing black smoke coming from under the car so I pulled over and within 2 mins it was too late .......

It looks like that its fuel related, weather a flexi split somewhere who knows, the fire extinguisher that I had on board didnt do much, all that I know is I didnt have much time to get out

No its not covered, we have 3 types of cover,
3rd party
3rd party fire and theft
and fully comp

Where it was on a traders policy they will only cover your own cars 3rd party only

The conversion was done over a year ago and the fire looks like it started from the front, so the conversion at this point in time is Irrelevant.

Sorry for your misfortune, that really sucks. Did you do the conversion or buy it that way? The good news is that with the price of early C4s you can do it again if you want for not too awfully much. Maybe if you find a fixer-upper some forum members would donate some parts. Good luck with whatever you do.
